How to start living a healthy lifestyle?
Living a healthy lifestyle is a subject that is very close to my heart. I feel that it is my responsibility to help others preserve and improve their health.
A healthy lifestyle consists of physical and mental health.
In order to implement a healthy lifestyle, one needs to simultaneously make changes in a few aspects of their life:
- Awareness
- Dietary habits
- Sleep quality
- Sport
Change starts from within, with awareness, consciousness, and a willingness to change, and only after this process does it become a habit.
Initially, I help my clients change their personal consciousness and self-perception. Herein lies the subjects of body image, self-confidence, willingness, motivation, bravery, determination, persistence, patience, and capability. I teach my clients to develop new muscles in the brain that allow them to implement these skills so that they develop good eating habits and begin to do sport regularly.
How to Make Sport a Regular Part of Your Life?
In the past, it was believed that it took 21 days to change a habit. Nowadays, we know that it takes a minimum of three months or even longer. Therefore, in order to make sport a regular part of your life, it is important to take small steps. Choose a physical activity you enjoy doing and are good at. Start with five minutes a day at a set time. Generally, it is best to do it every morning. The minute you feel that five minutes is easy for you, increase to ten minutes a day, and onwards, until you are at a minimum of 30 minutes at least three times a week.

Clients Who Worked With Me
Clients who I helped with aspects of healthy living reported back to me that the sessions improved all aspects of their life. The moment their self-confidence improved, so too did their standards. They began demanding more from themselves and from their relationships. They decided to make changes in other aspects of their lives as well; at work, in their relationships, with their children, and with every other aspect they were not satisfied with. By the end of our time together, they have improved their quality of life and have become happier and more satisfied individuals.
A woman I guided lost 20 kilograms, changed jobs, began studying, and most importantly: she saved her marriage (instead of getting divorced)!
A man who I guided lost ten kilograms which he had gained as a result of emotional eating. The moment he understood what caused him to eat emotionally, he was able to stop eating unnecessarily and to lose weight.
Both these people, and many others, achieved their goals with my help. This process is possible for anyone who is willing to invest the time, the money, and most importantly the energy required to make dreams come true. Results like this usually require half a year of time in order to change habits. But what is six months of work compared to a lifetime of dissatisfaction?
Why You Shouldn’t Diet?
Dieting leads to excess weight gain! Diets don’t work because they focus on negative advancement: lacking, deprivation, and sacrifice. The moment you lose willpower, the diet is over. Our bodies rebel against these rules exactly like children rebel against their parents. Diets cause excess eating and because of this, people gain weight (yoyo effect). Dieting can cause an imbalance in our bodies and can harm our health. Dieting has a very negative psychological effect on our bodies: people diet, lose weight and are over the moon. But, over a long period of time, it is difficult to be consistent with the diet and then people lose weight again, and this causes immense frustration. Each time a person diets and gains weight again, they lose more self-confidence, until it becomes hard to believe in themselves, and in the idea that losing weight is possible. Another reason diets don’t work is that they don’t take emotional eating into account. An important tip: it’s better to be full and never diet than to be “fat/skinny” that occurs from the yoyo effect. My approach is “slow and steady and one time for the rest of your life!”
When I was in high school, I struggled with my weight and with emotional eating. I suffered from bulimia (without vomiting). I would eat junk food until I fell asleep. I repressed my feelings through food and did not deal with them. I found comfort in food during a time that I felt unable to express myself.
At the age of 17, I changed my eating patterns and developed a method for myself that allowed me to lose 5 kilograms and to keep it off (except during pregnancy, depression, and fibromyalgia).
I have a deep desire to help others and to share the knowledge and tools I developed for myself. Therefore, I wrote a guide that focuses on how to lose weight and how to keep it off. Additionally, I also focus on how to create a healthy and balanced lifestyle, while at the same time letting go of negative dieting habits and the yoyo effect. It is important to understand that this is a change in lifestyle, an end to dieting for good, and adopting a new style of eating. It will require effort and a change of perception. I promise you it’s worth it!
